Anyone following this ministry for awhile will know that the “voice” on most of our recordings is that of my dear friend, Kathleen Winkelmann. Kathy and her husband, Dean, have been part of our core ministry team for 25 years. Kathy graduated to heaven on April 30, 2022, after a prolonged battle with cancer. Martin and I are devastated. We’ve lost a family member, and the world has lost a very powerful, unique, creative voice. Although we know Kathy is not suffering any longer, we are grieving the loss of such a life force in our lives. She was a gifted prophetic psalmist. She could hear God give her lyrics to sing over people, over cities, congregations and even nations. We composed on the spot in the studio, never planning melodies or chords or keys ahead of time. Thank God I have her voice recorded for posterity. She will always be with us, cheering from the other side.

I’m going to post a few links to tracks we recorded. Sometimes, it was Kathy singing, Martin speaking and Dean playing keyboards with me. Sometimes, it was me and Kathy. She was so much more than an entertainer. She paid the price to walk in and function in the anointing of Jesus to bring healing to hurting souls and bodies. Jesus was her best friend and she lived for the moments she could share Him with those who didn’t yet know Him. She led many to the Lord through her voice, her wisdom and her compassion. I will miss her every day until I see her and play with her again.
